Engaging with the history of British landscape painting, O’Neill’s use of vibrant hyper-real colours gives the British landscape a contemporary twist. The fantasy esque imagery also suggests that societies perception of the British countryside may be more fanciful than reality in this day and age.

O Neill graduated from Wimbledon College of Art MA in 2008.
